Ranking criteria

A result you can check

Every row uses the same three-step method, and invalid choices remain visible instead of disappearing.

01

Find the gain

New cash per second minus current cash per second. The difference must be positive.

02

Find payback

Upgrade price divided by the positive rate gain. A shorter time ranks higher.

03

Break ties

Higher gain per cost wins the first tie; the order entered resolves an exact tie.

When the first choice is not automatically best

Payback answers one question: how quickly the added rate could recover the price. A beginner may still prefer a cheaper unlock, and future unlock requirements or replacement risk can matter more than the first rank. Recheck the live rate after each purchase.

Upgrade ranker FAQ

Is this an official My Toll Farm tier list?

No. Exact upgrade names and stats are not available from the public sources checked. This page ranks only the price and rate values you enter.

Why does the ranker use payback time?

Payback connects upgrade price to the added cash per second. It gives different-sized choices one consistent comparison instead of assigning unsupported S-to-F tiers.

What happens when an upgrade does not increase my rate?

The row stays visible under Needs attention. A zero or negative rate increase cannot produce a positive payback time.

Does the first-ranked choice always have the biggest cash gain?

No. It repays fastest for its price. A more expensive choice may add more cash per second while taking longer to recover its cost.
